Cardiovascular Disease is No.1 Killer in Malaysia

Hearty, healthy Fish Oils

Cardiovascular disease (or CVD) is the leading cause of deaths worldwide and is the No.1 killer in Malaysia. It kills more people than cancer, claiming one in every five hospital deaths.

Death, disability and sickness burden us with costly medical bills. The good news is that we can take measures to limit its risks through a healthy diet and lifestyle.

In 36 countries, fish consumption has been shown to reduce the risk of heart attacks and stroke mortality. People who ate at least some fish weekly had a far lower risk of dying from congenital heart disease (CHD), compared to those who ate none.

A 30-year follow-up of the Chicago Western Electric Study reported that those who ate fish lived longer following CHD.

Those with a family history of CVD or are displaying risk factors such as high cholesterol levels, high blood pressure and diabetes will be happy to know that by simply including more heart-friendly Omega-3 fish oils in your diet, you are increasing your defence against CVD.

Kordel's High Omega now offers you added convenience in getting your optimal dose of fish oil daily. Containing 50 per cent more Omega-3 EPA/DHA than normal fish oil supplements, deriving the heart-healthy benefits could not be simpler.

The EPA/DHA component in Omega-03 fish oils offers protection from heart disease through its blood-thinning effects, ensuring that blood flows easily throughout the body to deliver oxygen and nutrients.

The fish oils also help lower levels of bad cholesterol (VLDL or very low density lipoproteins) while raising levels of the good cholesterol (HDL or high density lipoproteins). We know of course that excess bad cholesterol tends to clog arteries, which can lead to heart attacks or strokes.

In addition, Omega-3 fish oils help protect and relax blood vessels to further prevent obstructions.

Kordel's Hi-Omega chooses only sea-harvested, small marine oily fishes which are not only naturally higher in EPA/DHA content, but are less likely to accumulate toxins.

A molecular distillation process is also carried out further reduce impurities.
