2007 was a big year for mobiles

More than 1 billion phones sold last year.

Nokia, the global leader in this area looks to expand to North America
while Motorola tries to stall its slide.

The main draw shifts now to emerging markets such as China and India,
with many people there buying their first mobile.

Nokia dominated worldwide with 435 million units sold, followed by
Motorola, Samsung, Sony Ericsson and LG.
