Google Android makes Barcelona appearance with Texas Instruments

Texas Instruments plans to showcase the first prototype handset
powered by Google Android platform at the Mobile World Congress show
in Barcelona, this week, according to the company.

Google Android is a Open Source handset OS. The phone demonstarates a
"one button access" to applications such as Web browsing, e-mail,
messaging and video. The OMAP platform's multi-core architecture
promise to deliver multimedia and user interfaces on the Android
platform.
