Toshiba introduces 1.8" Hard Disk drive, 160 GB

Toshiba presented 1.8" SATA hard disk drive, the first with a capacity
of 160 GB.

The new drive will have improved rotation speed over previous models
of the same size - 5400 rpm and better interface speed of 1.5Gbps.

The new 160GB drive, MK1617GSG, and an 80GB drive, MK8017GSG, will
enter mass production in August.
