Antidepressant Drug For Autism Failed

According to a recent study Celexa a known anti -depressant drug used
to treat autism failed a study.

Researchers studied 149 autistic children age 2-17. They were given
either 20mg of celexa for 12 weeks or a placebo. Symptoms during
treatment were assessed and rated on a score of 1-7, ( 7 being the
most severe ).

Result : Children who took Celexa were more likely to develop
repetitive behaviour. Only 1/3 of them showed substantial improvement.
